About this event
Join us for Bowling Green Singing for Democracy, a free concert celebrating democracy and featuring renowned social justice singer-songwriter Crys Matthews! Listen to some of Crys' music here: https://www.crysmatthews.com. Enjoy a great selection of singing groups raising their voices for democracy, including members of Mt Zion Baptist Church, Singing Resistance, HuDost and more. Along with the musical performances, we'll hear from Kentuckians fighting for the right to vote. After the concert, we’ll mobilize and march to the polls with SOKY Indivisible and others. Doors open at 9:30 am for networking and fellowship. Several local organizations will have tables, so come early and get involved. Bowling Green Singing for Democracy is hosted by Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, BG Freedom Walkers, Mt Zion Baptist Church, Kentucky Poor People's Campaign, SOKY Indivisible, and other partners.
